Ishmam OS is the personal portfolio of Shahriyar Ishmam. It collects as little as possible. There are no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking cookies.

What is collected

Only what you type into the Contact app and submit: your name, email, company, role, and message. All fields are required. Nothing is collected until you press send.

How it is used

Your submission is stored so I can read and reply to it, and it triggers a private notification to me so I see it promptly. It is used only to respond to your enquiry, never sold, rented, or added to a marketing list.

Where it is stored

Submissions are saved in a Neon Postgres database (hosted in the United States) and the alert is delivered over Telegram. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, whose servers log basic request metadata (such as IP address) for security and reliability.

On your device

The desktop remembers your preferences (theme, accent colour, and window positions) in your browser’s localStorage. This never leaves your device and can be cleared any time from your browser settings.

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete anything you’ve submitted. Just reach out through the Contact app and I’ll take care of it.
